- Film of the Month: Monthly recommendations from our DVD Collection. Feel free to ask your teacher how to borrow them.
- November: Yesterday by Danny Boyle is our recommendation to celebrate Music Day.
- January: BlackKKlansman by Spike Lee is based on real life and it’s a recommendation for Marthin Luther King’s Day.
- March: Suffragette is a 2015 British historical drama film about women’s suffrage in the United Kingdom, directed by Sarah Gavron and written by Abi Morgan and to commemorate March’s Women month this is our recommendation.
- April: to celebrate the international book day on the 23 April, we recommended Book Club, a mix between Sex in the city and the Golden Girls
- May: The social Network is American biographical drama film which describes the founding of social networking website Facebook and the resulting lawsuits.
- Days to commemorate: Special days we want to celebrate with you and have some fun. Take part in our monthly contests.
- November: 18 November is the World Guinness Records Day. Which one is your favourite? Write a brief description and publish it in our notice board.

- January: The third Monday of January (this year 17 Jan) celebrates the birthday of Martin Luther King, it’s bank holiday in the USA.
- February: 21 of January is the International Day for Mother Language. What’s your favourite word in Spanish? You can watch a video to learn about some favourite words around the world.
- March: The whole month is aimed at celebrating women. This year, our school is trying to emphasise the importance of women around us for that reason students could write about women they knew and admire.
- April was undoubtedly the book month. In class we wrote reviews from books we have read throughout the year, not only in English but in Spanish as well.
- May celebrated the internet day and we talked about it and how it has changed our lives.
Actividades realizadas por el departamento de Inglés durante el curso 2021-2022
- Live Clases
Se han realizado varias Live Classes que han interesado mucho al alumnado. Una con temática navideña el día 20 de diciembre y dos posteriores el 12 de mayo acerca de Escocia e Irlanda que tuvo a su vez una gran acogida.
En términos generales las charlas fueron entretenidas, dinámicas, con gamificación y buen soporte visual que hizo que todos los alumnos, independientemente de su nivel pudieran seguirle.
Viaje a Londres
Se propuso realizar un viaje a Londres que tuvo que ser cancelado debido a las restricciones derivadas de la alerta sanitaria.
